A little bit about me.....

I am a experienced Make up Artist who started my Artistry career in M.A.C. Limerick in 2008 Since then I expanded my skills to include Body Painting, prosthetics, prop making and set design and have worked across Ireland and the U.K. since 2008

I am currently work on a freelance basis working predominantly in the film industry and weddings.

I have extensive experience working with high profile Clients and Celebrities. I have also worked on many high profile events.

The pictures posted have either been created by myself, or as part of a highly qualified artistry team who were hired to work on a particular production or event, (e.g. M.A.C. Events teams).

For your viewing pleasure I have added, videos and some exclusive backstage shots, where possible.

Some of my career highlights, include an editorial in Vogue Magazine as part of a photo shoot with Alanah Weston, as well as working in Buckingham Palace in London for the queens Coronation Festival. I have also worked on some West End shows, Netflix series, Disney film, Amazon prime video etc.

I continue to do make-up for bridal parties and events.

Experience:

Before deciding to focus my career on Make-up Artistry I studied and qualified as a beauty therapist under the excellent tutelage of Bromyn Conroy in Dublin and achieved CIBTAC & CIDESCO Diplomas,

My first love has always been the make-up industry which led me to start my career with MAC.

I undertook the extensive MAC Training programmes and achieved success at every stage I was selected to work as part of the M.A.C. Specialist Make up and Body Painting Events Teams in Ireland and the U.K., which really opened doors for me to look after many Celebrities, and high profile clients as well as representing M.A.C. on many high profile events. The events team brought me from Selfridges, to Harrods, the West End, London Fashion Week and many, more events along the way.  I was also elected as a Product Specialist and spent time coaching team members in perfecting their artistry techniques

I will always be most grateful to my M.A.C family for the mind blowing opportunities and experiences  they have given me throughout my career.

I moved from M.A.C. to the parent company Estée Lauder where I initially held the position of Assistant Manager in their Retail Staff Store & then moved on to become Manager of the London Pop-up Store in Fitzrovia, London  My spell in Retail Management enabled me to learn the crucial Management skills necessary to run a business and took me one step closer to achieving the dream of running my own business. With those skills under my belt I was yearning to get back to the Artistry side of the business and I moved once again - this time to Givenchy as their national Make Up Artist & Project Co-ordinator. Covering the UK & Ireland.

The purpose of taking on the Givenchy role was to fine tune my Event Management skills and to learn first hand all the ins and outs of actually running events from inception to completion.  As National Project Co-ordinator I was accountable for ensuring every aspect of the pop-up ran smoothly. This covered advertising / recruitment location set-up stock control and ongoing operational management.

During my time with Givenchy I had the opportunity to travel to many of Retail stores across the UK to upskill the counter staff on their make-up techniques and to promote the 'Dare Givenchy' strategy.

I achieved numerous Customer Service Awards during my time in Retail, including the Selfridges spotlight customer service competition on three separate occasions
